Leonard Nimoy, (of Dr Spock fame on Star Trek) actor, writer, director & photographer gave the keynote speech @DEMO Enterprise Disruption. He was really inspiring particularly about the creative life.
I particularly loved his quote at the end:
“Edwin Booth, the actor heard the solemn whisper of a god of all arts. He said ‘I shall give you hunger & pain & sleepless nights. Also beauty & satisfaction known to few & glimpses of the heavenly life. None of these will you have continually. And of their coming & going you shall not be foretold.’ This is a perfect description of what it is like to live a Creative Life.’
